The Darcys Get Overstimulated With New Song “GOODTIME”

The Darcys, the duo of Jason Couse and Wes Marskell, released the album Rendering Feelings in 2024. Then in 2025 they produced and performed on comedian/actor/writer/podcaster/songwriter Mae Martin’s debut album I’m A TV. Now in 2026 they’re releasing an updated version of Rendering Feelings that includes 2 new songs; over thinking and GOODTIME.

“GOODTIME is about the moment when everything feels loud all at once” says Couse and Marskell. “Not just the room or the party, but the entire world. Small talk and background chatter blur into a constant hum of anxiety shaped by uncertainty. It’s the kind of noise you don’t just hear, you feel it in your body. It’s overstimulating, disorienting, and hard to escape. There’s something surreal about trying to live a normal life while pretending everything is okay.”

But GOODTIME isn’t just about despair” adds the duo. “At its core, it holds onto the idea of human connection as a form of resistance. In a world that feels overwhelming, unstable, and designed to divide, choosing presence, choosing to care, and choosing to stand up for each other is what matters.”

The Darcy’s are heading out on tour in support of Two Feet and will make a New England stop April 9th at Royale in Boston. Rendering Feelings GOODTIME Edition which is out now.
