Slothrust Saddles Up With New Cover Of Ginuwine’s “Pony”

Slothrust will release their next EP, I Promise, October 20th via Dangerbird Records and today the band shared something from the EP, an amazing cover of Ginuwine’s 1996 R&B hit Pony. The accompanying video has the duo of Leah Wellbaum and Will Gorin covered in glitter, riding a carousel, and releasing balloons of the riverside all to the soundtrack of the thunderous cover.

On their recent tour dates the band has been supported by Weakened Friends, who have shared their bassist Annie Hoffman to play bass for Slothrust on some dates.

Slothrust is now on tour with The Front Bottoms as support on the You Are Who You’re Friends With tour.
