From Van Weezer To Vivaldi: Weezer To Release Four EPs Inspired By The Seasons
For their 2021 release Van Weezer, Weezer took musical inspiration from the 80s guitar shredder music they grew up on. Now for their next set of releases they’re going a little farther back…back to the 1700s.
Inspired by Antonio Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, Weezer planning to release 4 EPs centered around the seasons. The first EP will be released on the Spring Equinox, March 20th. In a post to Instagram the band says “this year we’re releasing four EPs each inspired by magic, Pagan myths, religious rituals, Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, Shakespeare and more (so much more). Each one will take you on an enchanting journey.”
The posts made to Rivers Cuomo’s TikTok account gives a little look into what the spring EP will sound like with one of the tracks A Little Bit Of Love, which will be released March 16th
