“U&ME” And Forthcoming New Album The Dream Marks First New Music From Alt-J In Four Years.

Alt-J have announced their first new album since 2017’s Relaxer with the album The Dream, set for release February 11th, 2022 and have shared the first single/video for “U&ME“.

Written during soundchecks during their last tour, the band realized after getting back home that it had to be included on their next album. Gus Unger-Hamilton of Alt-J says about U&ME, “It gathered momentum on its own, it was best to just get out of its way. We were just there. It’s about being at a festival with your best friends, having a good time, togetherness, and the feeling in life that nothing could be any better than it is right now”

A US/Canada tour is planned for winter/spring of 2022 with the band making a New England stop in Boston, MA at the Agganis Arena along with guest Cherry Glazer.
