Rick Astley Covers Foo Fighters’ Everlong

You can add “Rick Astley covering Foo Fighters” so your list of things you didn’t know you needed. As part of Astley’s ongoing YouTube performances, he covered the Foo Fighters classic Everlong.

Astley starts saying that sometimes you just need a song that “lifts your spirits and puts you in another place”, following that often he goes to Foo Fighters so such a song before launching into an acoustic rendition of Everlong.

Of course Astley and Foo Fighters have been two great tastes that taste great together for years. In 2017 Astley joined Dave Grohl and the rest of the band at their sold-out show at the O2 arena in London to cover Never Gonna Give You Up.
