Disney+ Drops Trailer for the Mandalorian
In the first all-original move from the Star Wars franchise in recent history (a Star Wars story that isn’t just another side movie filling in gaps on a character with which we’re already familiar), Disney has debuted a trailer for The Mandalorian, which will officially start streaming on the upcoming Disney+ streaming service on November 12th.
Taking place after the fall of the Empire but before the rise of the Order, the Mandalorian has a wild-west vibe and might be just the thing to quench the thirst of Star Wars fans who want new, fresh stories that don’t just recycle the same stories with nostalgia grabs.
The Mandalorian will include Pedro Pascal as the main character along with Carl Weathers, Gina Carano, Werner Herzog, Nick Nolte (yes, Nick Nolte), ad Giancarlo as well as Ming-Na Wen, who you may remember from Agents of SHIELD.
