Everlast Returns With Yelawolf-Produced Track “Stones”
Whether you know him from the legendary House of Pain or as a solo artist with hits What It’s Like, I Get By, and Stone In My Hand, Everlast’s voice is instantly recognizable. His new release is the Yelawolf-produced single Stones. “Stones is a song about culpability and regret” says Everlast. “A journey from self loathing to self healing and forgiveness.”
The introspective track has Everlast singing;
God knows I know you’re sick of me.
Well I’m sick of me too
Take your shot but it won’t hurt
Worse than what I’ve done to you
There ain’t a stone that you can throw at me
I ain’t already threw.
The new is Everlast’s firstrelease with Thirty Tigers, in partnership with Regime Music Group and he says it’s part of a greater upcoming project that will be revealed soon.
