Carter Vail’s latest single Ants In My Room was born like a lot of his content…a silly lyric and a catchy melody. Since then the LA-based musician and content creator turned it into an electro pop gem.

While Vail’s previous releases (last year’s Coydog EP and 2024’s 100 Cowboys LP) have songs with deep meanings and symbolism, don’t expect that with Ants. Vail shares “‘Ants In My Room’ is not a metaphor, it is not clever symbolism. I wrote it when I discovered ants in my room. It is perhaps a sign of a weakening understanding of reality, that upon discovery, it felt like the perfect thing to write a song about. “
