The Revivalists Share New Single “Heart Stop” Ahead Of New Album

The Revivalists sixth studio album Get It Honest won’t be released until July 24th but the band has appeased fans by sharing the opening track, Heart Stop.

“This song might hit a little different for everyone, and I love that,” says frontman David Shaw.  “But for me, I’d say sometimes you are caught between two loves. One that’s tearing you apart and one that you know is right. This song is the sleepless nights, the wreckage, and the moment you finally surrender to what you know is there for you.”

Directed by filmmaker Caroline Iaffaldano, the video for Heart Stop was filmed with a first-person-view helmet cam inside an iconic New Orleans shotgun house alongside the talented dancer Malerie Dempster.

The Revilalists will play TD Garden in Boston August 1st in supporting Red Clay Strays.
