Dehd Shares One-Take Video To Accompany New Single; “Dog Days”

Chicago trio Dehd have shared the new single “Dog Days” and with it, a music video directed by Glam Hag. The video was done all in one take in a bar as the camera follows all actions and drama happening while Dehd’s Jason Balla sings karaoke.

“This song is a celebration for the messiness of life and the search for companionship. It’s about opening your heart and letting it be pummeled.” says Balla. “It’s taking risks, receiving rejection, dealing out disappointment. It’s about being brave and sometimes making bad decisions. It seems like everyone I know is out here grasping at love and often, fucking it up, breaking hearts and having ours broken along the way. It’s just the rules of the game and I wanted to make an anthem for people on the same rollercoaster, just trying their best, losing fast and loving hard.”

Dehd will head out on tour this summer with a Field Day Music Festival stop in Northampton, MA June 1st and will return to New England October 19th when they play Brighton Music Hall in Boston.
