Travis Looks At The Warped Reality Created By Others With New Single “Gaslight”

Travis, the Scottish band known for hits like What Does It Always Rain On Me, Driftwood, and Sing have announced a new album and shared the first single, Gaslight. The new album, L.A. Times, is the band’s first new music is four years also coincides with the 25th anniversary of their breakthrough album The Man Who (which featured tracks like Why Does It Always Rain On Me & Driftwood.

Travis vocalist/pianist/rhythm guitarist Fran Healey says of the song “I read a few weeks ago that gaslighting was the most web searched word in the world. We are living in a time where our realities are being warped by bosses, leaders, friends, teachers and politicians. It really is everywhere. Gaslighters want to control you. They tell you things which undermine your confidence in yourself and make you question reality and it makes you feel like you’re going crazy.
