Glass Animals Cover Lorde’s “Solar Power” For Spotify

Glass Animals have released two “new” tracks to Spotify, as part of the Spotify Best New Artist Singles series. They’re not exactly new but one is alternate version of their new hit I Don’t Wanna Talk (I Just Wanna Dance) and the other is cover of Lorde’s title track from her new album Solar Power.

Glass Animals are up for Best New Band at the 2022 Grammy awards (which seems odd as they’ve been around for years) and their contribution to the latest Spotify Singles run has them covering another past Grammy recipient in the of a Lorde cover.

In addition to being up for a Grammy (which will be given out Sunday in Las Vegas), the band is on tour with a New England stop May 29th as part of Boston Calling.
