Ben Gibbard of Death Cab For Cutie Keeps You Company With Livestreams From Home
Like a lot of artists living the social-distancing live, Death Cab For Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard is taking to YouTube to perform for his fans. Each day Gibbard is doing a livestream set from his home, taking requests and performing cuts from DCFC, the Postal Service, and covers.
During Wednesday’s stream the cuts included a cover of Joy Division’s 1981 cut ‘Ceremony‘, which Gibbard reflected on earlier on a run.
Gibbard plans to do his Live From Home performances each day, including weekends. If you’re a fan, make his songs (and his performances of others’) part of your daily music diet.
