Milky Chance Celebrate New Song “Colorado” With Livestream Event
The duo of Clemens Rehbein and Phillipp Dausch, better known as Milk Chance, have returned with a new single and they celebrated with a livestreamed event for their fans.
The pandemic put the band right back to where they started creatively. “It felt like the early days all over again,” says Rehbein. “Without any schedules or deadlines, we were back to making music for ourselves, free to experiment and take risks and have fun with it.” But with that time to be creative, they found themselves headed in new directions. “If there’s a silver lining to the past year,” says Dausch, “it’s been the chance to take our sound to places we might never otherwise have gone. Having a break like this really offered us the space to grow as artists.”
The livestream debut of the video for Colorado starts the band driving around their hometown listening to themselves perform originals and covers, followed by a live Q&A celebration with fans (after fixing some audio issues).
