Garbage Returns With “The Men Who Rule The World”

Today Garbage announced a new album; No Gods No Masters, set for release on June 11th and shared the first single The Men Who Rule The World. This will be the first release from Shirley Manson, Butch Vig, Duke Erikson & Steve Marker since 2016’s Strange Little Birds.

In a post on Instagram, the band writes: “This is our seventh record, the significant numerology of which affected the DNA of its content: the seven virtues, the seven sorrows, and the seven deadly sins. It was our way of trying to make sense of how f**** nuts the world is and the astounding chaos we find ourselves in. It’s the record we felt that we had to make at this time.

IF the world allows, the band has planned a tour starting in June with New England stops at the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion in Gilford, NH on September 3rd and the Xfinity Center in Mansfield, Massachusetts on September 4th, 2021.

Fans can preorder the new album, including deluxe bundles directly from the band here.
