Run The Jewels Teams With Royal Blood For The Ground Below Remix

Killer Mike and El-P gave 2020 their all, releasing RTJ4 a little earlier than expected and the surprises didn’t stop there. The duo joined Travis Barker for a new track, released No Save Point for the Cyberpunk 2077 video game, and now they’ve released a new version of a track from RTJ4, adding work from the English duo Royal Blood.

The new Royal Jewels mix of the Ground Below brings the 2 duos together for a fiery new track.

Explaining how it all came about, El-P of Run The Jewels says “We’re big fans of each other’s bands. A while back, we hung out and played each other songs we love – one of mine was Gang Of Four’s Ether, which I later sampled for the ground below. Mike and I thought it would be cool to get Royal Blood’s take on the ground below – we sent it off to them and they f*cking killed it.” Royal Blood adds: “Royal Jewels is the ultimate dream come true scenario. It’s an alliance we wish long continues.”
