Primus To Perform Rush’s A Farewell To Kings On Summer Tour

Primus will spend 2020 paying tribute to a band that has inspired them from the beginning as they present A Tribute To Kings with more than 40 dates starting this May in Irving, TX. The tour, along with supporting act Wolfmother, stops July 3rd in Maine at the Maine Savings Pavilion at Rock Row in Westbrook.

This isn’t the first connection between the two trios. Way back in the early 90s Primus opened for Rush on tour and Les Claypool of Primus has shared the stage with Geddy Lee on more than a few occasions. The tour will be extra special this year as Rush fans are still mourning the loss of legendary drummer Neil Peart who passed away earlier this year on January 7th.
